Annunciato da lungo tempo, e' finalmente uscito il secondo album di Daijah, seguito al grandioso "Storm Clouds" che inauguro' l'etichetta "Third Eye" alcuni anni fa'. Anche se il titolo del disco potrebbe far pensare a forme musicali "estreme", la musica di URBAN JUNGLE e' puro new age reggae made in UK, creato dalla ormai collaudata unione di alcune delle menti piu' lucide della scena dub inglese anni '90: ritmi e mixaggio dei Disciples e la produzione di Rootsman. Insieme forniscono una solida base alle deliziose canzoni di Daijah, che trattano di grandi tematiche come la condizione dell'umanita', la natura, Dio, l'amore, con una naturalezza ed una profondita' tipicamente femminili. Ancora una volta , quindi, dalle giungle urbane inglesi ci arriva no luce, forza e consapevolezza delle nostre radici veicolate da un grande disco.

Announced from a long time, It's out at last the second album by Dayjah, following the great "Storm Clouds" that inaugurated the Third Eye label some years ago. Even if the title could be evoke more "extreme" musical forms, The music in UBAN JUNGLE is pure roots steppers music made in UK, created by some of the most clear minds in the 90's british dub scene: rhythms and mix by The DISCIPLES (the Ross and Loll Bel Brown brothers) and production by ROOTSMAN (owner of Third Eye label). Together they give a solid foundation to the Dayjah's delicious songs, that speak about great themes like the mankind condition, nature, God, love, with tipycally female naturality and depth. So, one more time, from the english urban jungles, light, force and awareness come to us, vehiculated by a great record.
